Faxing, Digital or Traditional
Fax that arrives the way you want it: as a PDF in your email, in your Clarity portal, or on the fax machine you already own through an adapter.
Plenty of industries still run on fax for permits, titles, insurance, and medical paperwork. Clarity keeps you in that loop whichever way you fax: by email, which is how most customers do it, through your Clarity portal, or through the machine already sitting in your back office.
Every fax is tracked and searchable like email, and your fax number rides your phone system instead of a dedicated analog line.
What it does for your business
For Service Franchisees
Send and receive faxes by email or from your online account. Permits and work orders arrive as PDF files, no machine required.
For Auto Dealerships
Titles, payoffs, and insurance docs fax in and out digitally, tracked like email.
Frequently asked questions
QUESTION: Do I need a fax machine or phone line for this?
ANSWER: Not for digital faxing. Faxes send and arrive through your email as PDF files and through your Clarity Voice portal, where you can read, forward, and file them. If you would rather keep your machine, an analog adapter connects it to the same system.
QUESTION: What is the difference between eFax and Premium Fax?
ANSWER: Online faxing (eFax) travels over your internet connection and is the lower-cost, fully digital option. Premium Fax uses traditional phone lines instead, so faxes still go out when the internet is slow or down. That makes it the right choice when faxing is critical to the business.
QUESTION: Can I keep my existing fax number?
ANSWER: Yes. Existing fax numbers port to Clarity Voice the same way phone numbers do, so letterheads and vendor records stay valid.
QUESTION: Is electronic faxing reliable enough for legal documents?
ANSWER: Yes. Each fax has a delivery record, and PDFs preserve the document exactly, which is why titles, payoffs, and permits are the most common documents our customers fax.
